Famed porn star Jenna Jameson has hit the news this week because she could not keep her hands to herself, which usually is a good thing in her profession. This time, she was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery this past Saturday at 7:50 PM PT, according to OMG! from Yahoo.
The incident occurred in a private residence in Balboa Beach, California, according to the Newport Beach Police Department. Jameson’s birthday is April 9, but she was celebrating her 39th birthday on Saturday. During the celebration, she got into an altercation with the victim, who placed Jameson under citizen’s arrest until the police responded.
Lt. Evan Sailor, from the Newport Beach Police Department, said that the unidentified victim did not need any medical treatment after the incident. Sailor confirmed that Jameson was released from custody and provided with a date to appear in court. He also said that it is “up to the D.A.’s office” on the decision of pressing charges against Jameson.
Jameson was supposed to appear at Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim on Saturday for her ‘official’ party. The club has not commented on whether or not she actually arrived. Jameson was arrested in May of 2012 for a DUI. In that case she was booked, cited, and then released.
