Brynn Peltz Joins Goodwin Procter in New York

It was announced on Thursday by law firm Goodwin Procter that Brynn D. Peltz has joined the firm in its Financial Institutions Group in New York. Peltz will serve as a partner in the firm’s Transactions and Investment Management & Regulation Practices. Peltz will also work in the firm’s Private Investment Funds practice. Peltz arrives from Latham & Watkins. She served as a partner in their financial regulatory and investment funds practices. Before that she worked for Clifford Chance , according to the Fort Mill Times.

Peltz has over 20 years of experience when it comes to advising financial institutions. This includes real estate and hedge fund sponsors, private equity, business development companies, registered investment companies and alternative asset managers.

“Brynn brings deep industry experience and success on behalf of clients to our growing Financial Institutions Group,” Regina M. Pisa said. Pisa is the chairman of Goodwin Procter. “We’re delighted that she has chosen Goodwin as the platform to further expand her practice.”

The chair of the New York office for the firm, Albert J. Solecki, said, “Brynn’s arrival at Goodwin will increase our local presence and depth in this key sector and will allow us to provide even greater service to clients across the financial services sector.”

Peltz belongs to the Association of the Bar of the city of New York Investment Management Regulation Committee and the Women’s Investment Management Forum. Peltz earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School and a B.A. from Cornell University.
