Donald Trump Critical of Republicans Following ‘Fiscal Cliff’ Deal

Despite the New Year, Donald Trump is up to his old tricks, slamming Republicans on Wednesday for caving into the ‘fiscal cliff’ deal with the Democrats.

“Does any Republican have the ability to negotiate?” Trump tweeted after the deal passed the House and sent it to the White House for President Barack Obama to sign.

“Obama and the Democrats are laughing at the deal they just made … the Republicans got nothing!” Trump exclaimed.

On December 28, Trump tweeted, “[O]nly the big deal should be approved!”

Trump, in his criticism of Republicans, said that the group “may be the worst negotiators in history.”

The deal came to fruition late on Monday night, which was brokered by Vice President Joe Biden and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican from Kentucky. In one of his critical tweets, Trump said the following about the Republican Party:

“Obama and the Democrats are laughing at the deal they just made…the Republicans got nothing!”

Trump, who is a Republican, in case anyone did not know that, also tweeted the following after the deal hit the news:

“I am a Republican…but the Republicans may be the worst negotiators in history!”
