Piers Morgan Takes Petition for Deportation in Stride

News broke last week about the creation of a petition on the White House’s petition website calling for the deportation of CNN television show host Piers Morgan after Morgan made comments about gun control in the United States. Well, Morgan does not seem to be worried at all about the petition based on a couple of his recent tweets.

It actually seems as though Morgan is enjoying being in the spotlight more than usual because of the petition, which has close to 100,000 signatures as of Monday morning. On Friday, Morgan tweeted the following about the issue:

“Still only 90,000 Americans have signed the White House petition to deport me. That leaves 310,910,00 who presumably want me to stay.”

For those who have signed the petition, do not fret, Morgan has vacated the United States for now. He has returned to England for a vacation during the holiday season. This definitely should upset the group of people in England who do not like Morgan either. A petition in England, to keep Morgan in the United States, was started in response to the petition in the U.S. to deport Morgan.

Morgan also tweeted the following:

I am out of your country, relax Chucky > RT @USA_Chucky: @piersmorgan GET THE F**K OUT OF MY COUNTRY!!!
