Journalist Creates Petition with White House to Deport Piers Morgan

Kurt Nimmo, a writer at Infowars.com., created a petition on the White House’s website that asks for CNN host Piers Morgan to be deported from the country because he has been accused of being an enemy of the country’s constitution and Bill of Rights, according to Examiner.com.

All of the anger against Morgan began after he interviewed Larry Pratt, the executive director of Gun Owners of America. Morgan supports strict gun laws and he let Pratt know his stance during the interview. Morgan said that gun laws and gun-free zones will not solve the problems in the United States tied to gun violence.

Morgan told Pratt: “You’re an unbelievably stupid man, aren’t you?” and “You have absolutely no coherent argument. You don’t actually give a damn about the gun murder rate in America.”

Morgan then got involved with another user on Twitter. That user accused Morgan of being “gleeful that a tragedy happened to help you push your cause.” Morgan responded with a sarcastic tweet, saying, “Of course I am, you moron.”

The petition is to deport “foreign agent and enemy of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights Piers Morgan.”

“British Citizen and CNN television host Piers Morgan is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment,” the petition reads. “We demand that Mr. Morgan be deported immediately for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens.”

The White House will not respond to the petition until it reaches 25,000 signatures by January 20, 2013. As of early Monday morning, the petition had already acquired close to 2,500 signatures. Of the signatures already on the petition, people who have signed it come from all areas of the country. People from California, Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Illinois, Georgia, Missouri, Florida and other states have signed the petition.
