Lindsay Lohan Asking Friends, Family and Spiritual Advisor for Letters on Her Behalf

Well hello old friend. We are hearing from Lindsay Lohan once again and this time things have really taken an interesting turn. She is so desperate to avoid time in jail that she is asking her spiritual advisor to make sure she is not sent to prison, according to TMZ.

Lohan has begun asking anyone she can to write letters on her behalf to the judge presiding over her case. Sources close to Lohan said that she has asked friends, family members and even her spiritual guru to write those letters. Lohan honestly thinks that the letters will help her stay out of jail if they paint the right picture.

For violating her probation recently, Lohan is now facing 245 days in jail, but the judge can decide to send Lohan to counseling instead of sending her to prison. The sources close to Lohan told TMZ that Lohan really does think a letter sent to the judge by her spiritual advisor will provide the most impact on her situation. The spiritual advisor has been with her since 2008, right after her second arrest for DUI. The spiritual advisor said that she has benefited from counseling.

Commissioner Jane Godfrey will be the person arraigning Lohan and is not keen on sending her to jail. Godfrey would prefer to send her to counseling. The hearing is slated for January 25.
