Thursday Thoughts

Hey everyone! Are you all having a good week? Mine’s going okay, although I’m doing a really great job at procrastinating with my school work. Senioritis is no joke… And this my 3rd time being a “senior” (or last year in school). So I’m really good at it.

What’s a great way to procrastinate? A Thursday Thoughts post!

1. Check out my friend’s phone case! I thought this was the coolest thing, it blended in with the table! Okay, this was a few drinks in, but still, isn’t it cool?

2. My cousins’ dog, Mack (Mac?) is adorable. He even had his own place card for Thanksgiving (see behind him) and managed to not knock it over. It was interesting to see how similar his mannerisms were to Molly!

3. I finally bought my first ever lottery ticket! After seeing that the lottery was up to $425 million, I thought: “how can I win if I don’t play?” So before heading to the airport on Sunday I went out and bought the lottery ticket! It may or may not have taken me a solid 10 minutes to pick all my numbers…

**Edited to add: In case you were curious, no I am not the person from Missouri who won. I did not guess a single number correctly on all 5 of my tries… And yes, I am actually disappointed.

4. I made my Great Aunt Avis’s Cinnamon Gooey Rolls for Thanksgiving and they turned out great! I also made a gluten free version (not shown here…) that crumbled to pieces. Tasted great, but it was a giant crumbly blob of deliciousness. Oh well.

5. While I was at the store picking out my new Mizunos, a woman near me was practically shouting about how ugly the shoes were that the salesman brought her (she was a bit… older) and why anyone would wear such ugly shoes! (her shoes were white with some black. These are about what the shoes he was showing her looked like:

Seriously!? Haha they are WAY OUT THERE! I have a feeling she wouldn’t like mine…

6. When I opened up my school e-mail on Monday I was greeted with this gem. Not only do I have finals, a big paper and figuring out a career to deal with, now I have to take 2 hours out of my free day to learn how to pay back my student loans. Thanks, school.

7. I love blog friends. They are so supportive.

8. And finally, Molly wanted to share with all of you how she wakes herself up in the morning:

Do you like bright shoes or more muted colors on your shoes?

Do you have a cool iPhone case?
