Woman Stabbed Son 100 Times

According to prosecutors, a woman from Chicago stabbed her 7-year-old son 100 times because she was angry with her husband. She then stabbed a 5-year-old girl 50 times because she witnessed the attack on the boy. Prosecutors said that both children were begging and pleading for their lives during the attack.

Robert Berlin, the DuPage County State’s Attorney, said that Elzbieta Plackowska provided investigators multiple stories about the incident. She originally told police that the incident was caused by a stalker who entered her home in Naperville. During a bond hearing, Berlin said that Plackowska also told police that she stabbed the children because they had evil inside them and that she was fighting the devil in the home.

Berlin said that the woman finally admitted to the crime, saying that she was mad at her husband for constantly being away from home because he is a truck driver. She was also made that she had to take care of their son and work as a maid, which she claims is beneath her.

“She told the detectives that she thought by killing Justin she would make her husband hurt the way she hurt in their relationship,” Berlin said.

According to Berlin, the woman told police that she discovered the kids jumping on a bed and attacked them. She said she also slit their throats.

“She had grabbed a knife and she made both victims kneel and begin praying. She began stabbing her son Justin and told him he was going to heaven tonight. He pleaded for his life and told her to stop. But she continued stabbing him until he was dead,” Berlin said. “She then turned her attention to 5-year-old Olivia and began stabbing her with the knife multiple times. She as well pleaded for her life, but the defendant continued to stab her until she was deceased.”

The girl victim has been identified as Olivia Dworakowski and she was killed because the girl saw the attack on the boy. The woman has been ordered by DuPage County Judge John Kinsella to be held without bond.
