Leeza Gibbons Targeted by Stalker Wanted in New Jersey

Radio and television personality Leeza Gibbons has been the subject of a stalker who called her an ugly whore and who said that she should have sex with him. The stalker, described as a delusional fugitive, is Peyman Babalavi. Babalavi is facing criminal charges for reportedly harassing professors from Kean University in New Jersey. He was a student at the school. Babalavi has been branded a fugitive because he did not appear in court for a hearing.

Gibbons, according to law enforcement sources, received four emails and 20 messages on Facebook from Babalavi. In one of the messages sent to Gibbons, Babalavi told her that he is owed millions of dollars and a couple of BMWs from Gibbons, according to TMZ.

Gibbons has been getting harassed for over a year by Babalavi. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Threat Management Unit was given the case and was able to acquire a search warrant back in August. The search warrant made it possible for the police to figure out that Babalavi was the one harassing Gibbons. Babalavi has yet to be apprehended by authorities.

You can check out the Wanted poster issued by the Kean University Police Department featuring Babalavi in this post. Babalavi fled to California to escape prosecution and is believed to have returned to the Kean University area.
