Rescue Mission in Black Sea for Sex Doll

In what has turned out to be a very embarrassing story, rescue personnel in Turkey were tasked with removing a sex doll from the Black Sea after tourists and residents of the area thought it was actually the body of a human woman floating in the water. The reports were issued by the newspaper Milliyet.

The scene of the action occurred in the Samsun province on a beach in the north portion of the province. A large portion of the beach was closed by police officers while rescue crews entered the water to retrieve the body of the woman. The rescue personnel sent into the water included divers.

The newspaper report said that the rescue team, upon arriving at the body, realized immediately that it was actually an inflatable sex doll. The rescue team deflated the doll and threw it into the trash after coming out of the water. No one seems to know where the doll originated but the Black Sea is a major destination for tourists and sees a lot of traffic for international maritime shipping.

Officials did not fine or charge anyone for a false report or for lost time of the rescue personnel because of the discovery that the body actually was a blow-up doll.
