Florida Couple Arrested After Threesome Leads to Gunfire

A couple from Florida reportedly took part in a three-way sometime last week that wound up ending in gunfire. A SWAT team was needed and a police officer had to use a Taser gun on one of the people involved. The couple, Mindi and David Rice, had invited their friend, a 24-year-old woman, to their home in Zephyrhills. The woman’s name has yet to be released by authorities.

The incident took place last Wednesday and the married couple both injected themselves with prescription drugs prior to the threesome. After the three all had sex they fell asleep. According to police officers, Mindi Rice awoke Thursday morning to find her husband attempting to have sex with the other woman, but Mindi was not being included.

Reports from the incident say that Mindi, upon seeing what was happening, grabbed a revolver close to her and threatened to shoot the woman. Mindi then fired a shot into the ceiling of the room. The husband, David, took control of the gun and pointed it in his wife’s face.

The police report states that David said the following to his wife: “B—-, I’ll f—— kill you.” David then shot a bullet, hitting the wall. The third person in the threesome left the home and called 911 around 2 a.m.

When the couple refused to exit their home, police officers called in a SWAT team for assistance. After a couple of hours, the Rices finally exited their home but deputies needed to user a taser on the husband after he reportedly attempted to fight one of the deputies. David was charged with obstructing officers and both David and Mindi were charged with aggravated assault in the incident. Both are still in the Pasco County Jail.

David has a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday on charges not related to the threesome incident. Those unrelated charges include burglary, grand theft and possession of oxycodone. His wife, Mindi, is on two years of felony probation for fraudulent credit card reports. Mindi received a sentence in June for stealing a credit card in 2011. She reportedly stole the card so she could bail David out of jail.
