Texas Man Eats Live Dog While High

A man from Texas was arrested earlier this week for allegedly attacking one of his neighbors and then eating the neighbor’s dog alive. The man, 22-year-old Michael Terron Daniel, was reportedly high on the designer drug K2 during the incident and was described as ‘going crazy.’

The incident took place at a home in Waco, where witnesses say that Daniel informed residents at the home that he was “on a bad trip from ingesting K-2.” K2 is a type of synthetic cannabis known to cause existing psychoses to become exacerbated. After he warned the residents of the home, Daniel dropped to his hands and knees and began “chas[ing] a neighbor while barking and growling like a dog.”

Daniel then decided to beat and strangle the dog of the family from the home in Waco. He bit the dog multiple times, “ripping pieces of flesh away.” When authorities arrived, the dog was pronounced dead at the home. Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said that when officers arrived at the home they found Daniel on the porch covered in blood. Daniel even asked officers to either fight him or to use a stun gun on him so as “to help him get off his bad trip.” Daniel was booked into McLennan County Jail after being charged with felony cruelty to a non-livestock animal.
