Jay Neukom Joins San Francisco Office of Quinn Emanuel

In a press release from the law firm of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, the firm announced that John (Jay) Neukom joined the firm as a partner. Neukom will be working out of the firm’s office in San Francisco and he specializes in litigation and jury trials involving trade and patent secrets. Neukom has helped clients in various industries such as real estate, semiconductor, financial services, internet, software, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and oil-recovery. In one of the most popular and respected publications in California, Neukom was named as a ‘Lawyer on the Fast Track’ in April.

John Quinn, the managing partner for Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, said the following about the hire:  “We are pleased to add another experienced jury trial lawyer to our already deep bench.”

“We know Jay and have seen him in action in court.  We have a number of patent trials this year.  Jay will provide immediate help,” Charlie Verhoeven, the managing partner in the San Francisco office, said.

Neukom added the following about joining the firm: “I love to try cases to juries—the more complicated, the better.  Quinn tries more of these cases than any other firm, and I’m delighted I will be trying many cases with my new partners.”
