US Debt Continues to Mount

A video was posted to YouTube back in the middle of March that focuses on the dilemma surrounding the United States budget. It is a video that every American who plans to vote in the fall should watch. Anyone who is concerned with how the government is spending money and how difficult it has become to balance the budget should watch this video. We highly recommend watching it a couple of times in order to successfully take in all of the information presented. Take a look at the video embedded in this post and tell us that it is not scary.

The debt in the United States has increased at incredible rates since 1940, where it sat below $1 trillion. At the time this video was produced, in 2012, the country’s debt sites at $15.6 trillion and it is estimated that when we hit the year 2022, the country’s debt will come in at $25.9 trillion. It is estimated that the country’s debt increases each day by $3.96 billion since September of 2007.
