Man Confesses to Removing Evidence from Whitney’s Room

While last week Chief Coroner Craig Harvey had stated Houston had used cocaine “in the time period just immediately prior to her collapse in the bathtub at the hotel,” people were left wondering why no trace of the drug was found by detectives in the room. In the latest turn of events over the death drama of Whitney Houston, a close confidante has been found of having confessed of cleaning up the hotel room where she had drowned.

On February 15, Raffles van Exel had told a Dutch Newspaper, The Telegraph that “The room had to be emptied.” According to a translation of the article published online, Van Exel told the Dutch media, “Someone had to do it.” However, the man stopped short of revealing what exactly he had ‘removed’ from the scene.

On March 23, when the People enquired the authorities about Whitney’s case, BHPD Lt. Mark Rosen told that the case “is still an open investigation for us … I can’t disclose any details about the investigation.”

Raffles van Exel is known to project himself to media as a “highly respected entertainment consultant,” who services “some of the world’s most acclaimed executives and celebrities.” One wonders whether getting a hand on the list of his clients can prevent the possibility of witnessing some more future post mortem cleanups.

Raffles van Exel has also been learnt to have had a relationship with the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, too. In fact, on March 14, Forbes carried a report that indicated Raffles van Exel who also goes by the aliases Raffles Benson and Raffles Dawson could have been the tasteless person who took the photo of Whitney dead in her tub and sold it to the National Enquirer.

Surprisingly, Raffles is learnt to be enabler also of Bobby Kristina, Whitney’s daughter, and also spotted at the family funeral with his own bodyguard. The blog “Diary of a Hollywood Street King” is known to have carried reports of Whitney and Kristina doing cocaine together with Van Exel accompanying them. It is also learnt that Van Exel was the person who took the photos of Whitney and Kristina acting stupid at a party, and then sold it to TMZ.
