Lindsay Lohan Involved in Hit and Run

Lindsay Lohan has done it again. This time she adds leaving the scene of an accident to her list of problems and possible crimes. She was driving away from a nightclub, hit someone and decided to flee the scene. Lohan was driving her brand new Porsche when she left the Sayers Club in Hollywood not long after midnight on Wednesday morning. Sources say that Lohan was exiting the parking lot in her vehicle when she was barricaded by paparazzi and pedestrians close to the Hookah Lounge. As she was maneuvering her vehicle it came in contact with the Hookah Lounge manager. Lohan then decided to drive away from the scene. Someone who witnessed the incident called the police, who asked questions of people inside the Hookah Lounge and of the manager, who was only struck lightly by the vehicle. Some sources claim that Lohan was the one who called the police, but not about the accident. She supposedly called the police to protect herself from the paparazzi.

It has been reported that the manager who was struck did not suffer any injuries, which means Lohan probably did not violate any laws. If he did suffer an injury then Lohan would have committed a hot and run. This recent incident for Lohan could violate the terms of her probation sentence from her shoplifting case. Police have said that no one was injured in the incident and that the case is closed. Police also said that it could be reopened if the manager contacts them with an injury report, which has been reported of late.

The manager has appeared at a local emergency room and is planning to file charges against Lohan. Police have said that if the manager files a report then the case will be investigated as a hit and run. The manager did not know who Lohan was when others around him mentioned her name and did not complain about injuries until a couple of hours after the incident. The manager said he did not know who she was because he is not from the United States. The manager also told paparazzi and police officers that he did not need any medical attention right after the incident occurred. The manager is 26 years old and his name has not been released.

One witness at the scene of the accident told reporters that the manager had no problems and then “got up and started smoking his hookah.”
