BMW 1 Series Gran Turismo to Debut at Paris Motor Show

BMW has released photos of a new body style for one of its vehicles. The automaker, of Bavarian decent, has expanded the products it offers by creating spinoffs of some of its most popular models. The same has been done by German automakers Audi and Mercedes-Benz. BMW has created the four-door GranCoupe model from the two-door 6 Series of vehicles. The 5 Series Gran Turismo has been created from the 5 Series sedan and wagon. One of the newer vehicles, the 1 Series Gran Turismo, is completely different from the rest of the vehicles in its class. The reason for this is that it will not have the rear-drive platform. Instead, the vehicle will have the brand new front-drive platform.

The Paris Motor Show is going to be held next fall, which is when the 1 Series GT (Gran Turismo) will make its debut to the world. Once the vehicle makes its worldwide debut, it will be a direct target for the Mercedes-Benz B-Class hatchback vehicles. The vehicle will slot between the 1 Series hatchback and the X1 crossover. For you BMW lovers, it has been rumored that an all-wheel xDrive vehicle and a hybrid model are in the works by the company if you are not a fan of front-wheel drive.
