I was alerted to this fact when I noticed a Vernon CT police officer sitting in his cruiser with his binoculars trained off in the distance. I also saw another police vehicle spotting it . I believe I have seen this drone several more times and have heard it is launched from the University of Connecticut. It seems to fly fairly low under conventional FAA flight space. Does not look like any conventional aircraft or sound like it either I guess no one looks up although if you saw it at a distance you might not be able to discern it . But why?
