11 Things… Again

Hey everyone! Chelsey tagged me in the 11 things survey. I’ve already done it once before, so this time I thought I’d just answer her 11 questions! BUT, before we do that, I wanted to share something really cool with all of you!

Has anyone ever heard of Birchbox?

I cannot remember where I first heard of it, but it’s a company that sends you a little box full of beauty samples, from hair products, nail products, skin products, etc. Anything and everything! I ordered a box ages ago, back in December, but it never came! I contacted the company and they finally sent me another. I was so excited to get it!

I actually had them send it to my brother’s apartment, just in case the issue was with my address or someone in my building taking the box.

Here’s the box inside the box:

And all my samples!

They include a list of what is inside your box, explaining exactly what everything is. You can even go onto the website and buy the products if there is something you really enjoyed! You also fill out a survey before you get your box about your beauty habits and things like hair color and skin tone, that way it is more customized to you!

Birchboxes are also great gifts! I got my friend a 3 month gift subscription for Christmas, and so far she loves it!

Now, onto the 11 things survey. And thank you for tagging me, Chelsey!

Chelsey’s Questions:

Chocolate or Vanilla? Vanilla. I love chocolate, but I will almost always pick vanilla over chocolate!

What would you do with 1 million dollars? Weirdly, I was discussing what I’d do if I won the lottery with my brother the other day (apparently there’s some show about it he watches). I would 1) pay off my law school loans and pay for the last year, 2) TRAVEL and 3) be boring and put the rest into savings to use later in life, but then also giving myself an allowance for things like new clothes and running gear!

Where is your favorite place to buy groceries? Trader Joe’s. Whole Foods is great for specialty stuff and it’s fun to go to, but I don’t know if I could survive without my MUCH CHEAPER TJ’s. haha.

What is your biggest fear? Hmm… Probably never falling in love. Little deep for this early in the morning…

What is the last book you read? I’m currently reading Little Bee, but the last book I finished was Brave New World. Not a fan…

Favorite movie? Pride and Prejudice and Ever After. Can’t choose. I could watch both over and over and over and never get tired of them.

What do you see yourself doing in 5 years? Being married, having a career that I hopefully love, and making some sort of difference in the world. Oh, and running the Pike’s Peak Marathon.

Romantic or comedy movie? Can I choose a romantic comedy? Haha probably romantic, since a lot of the comedies these days aren’t my style.

Last dream you remember? This is too much pressure. I can’t remember right now!!! I rarely remember dreams though…

Have you ever been in a car accident? Hmmm not a real car accident. I tapped the bumper of someone at a stoplight when I was in High School, that’s about it! Lucky girl!

What is the longest friendship you have ever had? Um, not sure about this. I have a couple friends who I’ve been in school with since I was 2, 2 of which I may have met before then at the pool at our Country Club or on play-dates. So we’re talking at least 22 years for my friends Caroline and Helen!

What do you think of the Birchbox idea? Would you pay $10 for a customized box of samples?

YOUR turn! Answer one of Chelsey’s questions! I’d love to learn more about you all!
