Gay Hotel in NYC Has Secrets it Wants to Tell

Manhattan’s new gay hotel, The Out NYC, is going to be dirty. We assume the staff will be young, all male, and attractive. To add to that, the hotel will setup single guests with each other while also offering discount rooms for attractive men.

A hotel professional from New York was brought in to interview as a ‘lifestyle consultant,’ which is another name for concierge. He received a tour of the hotel, which is still under construction, from the general manager of the hotel. He also received a tour of the nightclub attached to it, which is called ‘XL,’ from promoter John Blair. The interviewee found out some interesting things about what to expect from the hotel.

The hotel will have two model rooms in the back of it that will offer discounted rates for the more attractive guests. Those rooms can be rented for around $70 per night. The interviewee was told that he should seek out the hottest guys while working at the front desk to fill those rooms. The rooms are hostel-style, with five bunk beds and a communal shower. We guess the plan is to get more people to stay there, the better looking the guests should be.

The guests for the model rooms will be scouted on the hotel’s Facebook page and other social media outlets along with at the front desk. The ‘lifestyle consultants’ are also responsible for figuring out which guests are single so they can sign up for a application called Out NYC, which helps them meet single guests while at the hotel.

Reportedly, The Out NYC will be hiring qualified candidates without discrimination for all of its staff, including housekeeping. It has also been reported that Blair’s nightclub will have a wall with a one-way mirror so no one outside can see what is happening inside on the dance floor.

Plenty of gay resorts across the world peddle sex, employ an attractive staff, and want to have the most attractive people in the hotel so others will register at the hotel to spend their money while rubbing elbows with those men. One thing this hotel has to worry about is getting shut down in New York City, where Mayor Michael Bloomberg has tried to clean up the city from sleazy places since he took office.
