Giant Man in North Korea Attends Funeral

There was only one person who stood out at the funeral for Kim Jong Il and it was one of the tallest men in attendance. The photo was released by the Associated Press, which shows a man who seems to be twice as tall as his peers.

It could be the North Korean national basketball star, Ri ‘Michael’ Myung Hun, but it is not known who the man is. We might never know for sure who this tall man is because of the secretive nature of North Korea.

There is a lower standard of living and malnutrition in North Korea, according to some studies, because of a discrepancy between the height of citizens in North Korea and South Korea. North Koreans, on average, are two inches shorter than those from South Korea.

Even though the tall mystery man was relegated to the very back row of mourners, he still got a pretty good view of the deceased Dear Leader’s funeral procession.
