Woman Arrested for Punching Walmart Employee

Holiday and post-holiday sales can be a steal because they are so affordable, but they really are not worth spending a night or two in a jail cell, but for some they are worth it.

A woman from New York has been charged with two counts of second-degree assault after she punched a 70-year-old Walmart employee in the face.

Grace Suozzi was assaulted by 26-year-old Jacquetta Simmons on Saturday night when the Walmart greeter asked to see Simmons’ receipts.

Simmons fled the scene immediately but was surrounded by Walmart employees and customers until police officers arrived to make an arrest.

Simmons was able to provide receipts for all of the merchandise she had in her possession when police checked her bags.
