Conrad Murray Breaks his Silence

The Trial of Conrad Murray for the death of Michael Jackson has flooded the airways for weeks.  Expert after Expert have had their say.  They have giving all the facts on all the drugs that Michael Jackson has taken and discussed in length his sleep deprivation and the demands of his tour.  All of his previous legal problems have been aired and discussed repeatedly.  What we have not heard, is what Conrad Murray has to say.  He did not testify in his own defense.  But now he has had an interview with NBCs today’s show.

Murray worked for Jackson for two years, as her personal physician.  He was helping Jackson prepare for his comeback tour.  He has repeatedly denied any knowledge of a drug addiction that has been claimed to take Michael Jackson’s life.  He claims to have been trying to help Michael get over his Propofol addiction.  He is also claiming that Michael was not upfront with him about his medical condition are the medications that he was dependent on.  But his statement seems to be a little late as he has already been found guilty of involuntary man slaughter.    A jury of his peers found him to be guilty of negligence that led to the death of the Michael Jackson.

Murray will lose his medical license because of the conviction. He was taken in to custody after the trial, and reports say he was actually on suicide watch for the first night.  According to the outcry after the verdict it is obvious that the Jackson family believes that justice has been served.  Sentencing will be in a few weeks, but there will be plenty of news on the Jackson’s to keep us going until then.

The trial is barely over and the contents of Michael Jackson’s house are already up for sale, including his death bed.  His bed is for sale and Conrad Murray is sleeping on a cot in LA County Jail.  The Jails in LA are facing overcrowding problems, so Murray may be out sooner than expected due to the overcrowding problems in the prison system.  Murray is supposed to be held in the LA county jail until sentencing, however, due to the population problem, he could be release d.  Another option is to send him to the state prison.  The practice is to release the least risky prisoners to their homes, and send the riskiest to State prison, if the county jail becomes over populated.

Murray believes that he was deceived by Michael and should not be held responsible for his death.  But does not regret his time spent with the star.
