Dinsmore Adds Three Attorneys to Lexington Office

The law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl recently announced the addition of three attorneys to its Lexington office.

Chris Cashen, Laura D’Angelo and Robert Croft, Jr. join from Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP.

Chauncey Curtz, Managing Partner of Dinsmore’s Lexington office was quoted as saying in a press release at the firm’s website: “Chris and Robert add significantly to our products liability practice that was recently recognized as the top listed products liability group in the United States by Best Lawyers®. We also feel very fortunate that Laura decided to join us as she adds a level of experience to our equine and lending practice that we have not had before. We are thrilled that these highly skilled, nationally recognized attorneys are joining our firm.”

Cashen joins as a partner in the Products Liability & Tort Practice Groups. He focuses his practice in the areas of products liability, insurance coverage issues, premises liability and commercial litigation. He has been selected for numerous awards including being listed in the The Best Lawyers in America® and Kentucky Super Lawyers®. Prior to joining the firm, he served as the former chair of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs Product Liability Practice Group. Cashen received his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his B.B.A. from the University of Kentucky.

Laura D’Angelo joins as a partner in the Corporate Department and member of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities Practice Groups. She focuses her practice in the areas of gaming and equine law, commercial lending, limited liability companies and partnerships and legislative and regulatory initiatives. In 2011, D’Angelo was recognized as a Leading Women in Central Kentucky by Business Lexington. Prior to joining the firm, she served as the chair of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs Equine & Gaming Practice Group. She received her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law, her M.B.A. from York University Schulich School of Business in Toronto and her B.S. from the University of Guelph, Ontario.

Robert Croft, Jr. joins as an associate in the Products Liability & Tort Practice Groups. He focuses his practice in the areas of product and premises liability, insurance coverage issues and commercial litigation. He serves on the Alumni Executive Board for Transylvania University. He is also a Co-Founder and former Vice President of Kentucky Classical Theatre Conservatory, Inc. He earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his B.A. from Transylvania University.
