University of Minnesota Law School considers private funding

The University of Minnesota Law School, a public university, is considering moving to what it calls a “private funding model”.  The Dean of the law school is saying that this does not mean that there will be a tuition hike, but Elie Mystal of Above the Law says that this is the first step towards charging law students more fees. Mystal is a well-known vocal critic of law schools over their tuition fees and employment rates for their graduates.
