Should Loughner be medicated?

A federal judge on Wednesday refused to stop forced medication to Arizona shooting suspect Jared Lee Loughner. U.S District Judge Larry Alan Burns said that prison doctors have complete rights to force Loughner for taking psychotropic drugs against his will. Reuben Camper Cahn, one of Loughner’s lawyers argued that forcing him to take these drugs against his will violates his rights and that doctors should have tried lesser restraints like mild tranquilizers. He was charged in January for mass shooting in which six people were killed and 13 wounded.
