Tobacco companies challenge outdoor advertising ban

The city of Worcester, Mass., brought an amendment to its Tobacco Products Control Ordinance on the 10th of May to restrict out door and indoor tobacco advertisements. Strongly reacting to this, three tobacco companies, Lorillard Tobacco Co., Philip Morris USA Inc and R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co along with a retailer trade association have filed a lawsuit challenging the Ordinance in the District Court of Massachusetts on 17 th of June.
