A law suit was filed against law firm ‘Chapman and Cutter’ by ‘Taxpayers United of America’ accusing them of misleading both Wilmette and Oak Park voters to pass increased hikes in property taxes, through voting, with deliberate use of faulty language. This filed brief mention about state’s failure in clearly stating hike rate violating both property tax code and state constitution.
