Arent Fox LLP, a Washington-based law firm with more than 350 lawyers, announced that former Republican Senator Robert Bennett from Utah and former Democratic Senator Byron Dorgan of North Dakota have united with the firm to work as the new Senior Policy Advisers on a bi-partisan approach. The two US senators will join the government relations practice at the firm’s office in Washington, DC. Dorgan is the new co-chair of the practice while Bennett will focus his practice on advising international clients. At Arent Fox, Bennett will not only focus on the firm’s Washington office but will also spend time in other firm’s offices particularly in Los Angeles. Bennett commented: “I am delighted to join forces with my good friend Byron Dorgan as Washington is making critical decisions that will have lasting effects on every business and every industry. I’m confident our bi-partisan approach, coupled with Phil English and the outstanding professionals at Arent Fox, will serve our clients well in this new endeavor.”
