Gibson Dunn Goes To Hong Kong

PR Newswire: With a push to further increase its presence in Asia, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher announced today the opening of its Hong Kong office, the firm’s second in Asia.  The first, an office in Singapore, was opened in 2008.

The newest addition to Gibson’s global network, whose practice will focus on corporate transactions and compliance, will be helmed by new partner Kelly Austin, Gibson partner Joseph Barbeau,  and associate Kate Yin.  Ms. Austin comes to the firm after an eight year stint at GE International’s Hong Kong operations.  Mr. Barbeau, who has extensive experience practicing in Hong Kong, comes back to it from Gibson’s Palo Alto office.
