Vance, a shareholder with Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, was appointed to the post at the organization’s annual convention. In the role he will spearhead the AAJ’s mission of providing people with a fair chance in the legal system, which often means taking on powerful corporations.
“It is an honor to lead AAJ at a time when the importance of the civil justice system has never been more obvious,” said Vance. “As president, I will continue AAJ’s efforts to strengthen the civil justice system and ensure all Americans can get justice, even when taking on the most powerful interests.”
Vance has practiced law for over 17 years. He specializes in personal injury litigation and consumer fraud cases.
In addition to Vance, AAJ’s new slate of officers includes President-Elect Gary M.
