Nixon Peabody Taps New Head Of Litigation

Fred A. Kelley, Jr. has been appointed to chair Nixon Peabody’s Litigation Department, says the Boston Globe.  Kelley, a trial lawyer, has been with Nixon for over 25 years with a client base that includes companies from the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology industries.

Nixon Peabody is one of the largest general practice law firms in the country with 17 offices in the United States in addition to locations in London, Paris and Shanghai. The firm has more than 800 lawyers in 25 different areas of practice and clients including emerging and middle-market businesses, national and multinational corporations, financial institutions, public entities, educational and non profit organizations, and individuals. The firm was formed in 1999 by a merger of two firms: Nixon, Hargrave, Devans & Doyle LLP and Peabody & Brown.
