McDonald Hopkins Adds Three To Litigation Department

McDonald Hopkins has bolstered its litigation department with the addition of three lawyers to its Detroit office. Joining the firm are members John E. Benko and Michael G. Latiff and associated Timothy J. Lowe. All three join from Butzel Long.

William J. O’Neill, chair of McDonald Hopkins litigation department, said all three litigators “have substantial expertise in the automotive and construction industries, which is an excellent fit for our clients in Detroit and nationally.”

Benko, who has been an outside general counsel to automotive suppliers, has experience in commercial and contract litigation in which he specializes in the automotive and construction industries.

Latiff, who led the litigation practice group at Butzel Long, brings experience as lead counsel in the litigation of significant commercial, business, construction, real property, OSHA, and automotive indirect supply chain disputes, the firm said in a press release.

Lowe’s practice focuses on business and commercial litigation, including business, construction, automotive supply chain, sales representative and real property disputes.

McDonald Hopkins is a business advisory and advocacy law firm with offices in Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit and West Palm Beach.
