King & Spalding Adds Two to Middle East Practice

King & Spalding has added a pair of senior lawyers as counsel to its Middle East practice. They are Timothy Burbury, who was formerly the co-head of DLA Piper’s construction and infrastructure practice in Abu Dhabi, and Leroy Levy, an infrastructure lawyer who joins the firm from Trowers & Hamlins in Dubai.

Burbury has advised master developers, government-owned entities, utilities and infrastructure funds in a variety of energy, transport and social infrastructure projects.

Levy has more than 10 years experience representing clients in Saudi Arabia and has worked in a variety of “innovative and groundbreaking deals,” according to the release.

King & Spalding’s Middle East practice contains a team of more than 30 lawyers in offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Riyadh. According to a firm press release, the offices specialize in complex commercial, corporate and financial transactions as well as project development, construction and engineering, with particular emphasis on matters related to the energy industry.

King & Spalding is in its 125^th year of service and has more than 800 lawyers around the world.
