Revenues Up at Barnes & Thornburg

Barnes & Thornburg reported that gross revenues increased from $212,617,000 in 2008 to $241,583,000 in 2009, a 14% increase. Profits per equity partner also increased 11% to $640,614. The expansion helped the firm to diversify its practice areas and placed them in higher priced markets. Another factor in increased revenues this year was the firms increased workload (up 40%) in creditor representation, one of the firm’s major areas of practice.

Founded in 1982, Indianapolis based Barnes & Thornburg has a broad range of practice areas such as aviation law, jury research, labor and employment, intellectual property and estate planning.
