Dewey & LeBoeuf Snags Cooley Lawyers

Dewey & LeBoeuf has lured away from Cooley Godward Kronish a team of top lawyers, including the head of Cooley’s technology transactions group.

Former Cooley management committee member and M&A practice honcho Richard Climan is moving to Dewey’s Palo Alto, California office. He will serve on Dewey’s executive committee, and work to expand its global M&A practice.

He is joined by Keith Flaum, who has represented eBay and Adobe, and Eric Reifschneider, Cooley’s tech transactions chief.

It is unclear if the team will bring along any associates.

Dewey & LeBoeuf is a white shoe law firm formed in 2007 by the merger of Dewey Ballantine and LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae. The firm has 24 offices in 14 countries.
