But then you’ll have to explain to people why they can’t buy any produce or meat, all the restaurants are closed, and any business that depends on manual labor is shut down.

You see, “illegal” immigrants are INVITED Here. They are forced to work under slave labor conditions. They do this because our slave jobs pay better than the crappy jobs in their countries of origin — a condition the US promotes by propping up their anti-Democratic governments.

And of course, by keeping these laborers “illegal,” they can’t get full benefits, can’t sue employers, and have no bargaining power. Which is the point.

You need to stop getting your talking points from Glenn Beck.

The reason the state is shot is because of changing demographics and the demands from and rewards given to hordes of uneducated peasants who have breached our borders.

I do believe that Arnold has been a disgrace and his ideas for state government economizing are idiotic including this idea for Hastings – which is a great school.

First they should cut all – all – all aid and assistance and benefits for illegal aliens and their children.

In the early 60s California had the best of schools and school systems. There was NO tuition to the University of California, but a prospective student had to meet a fairly high academic standard to qualify. Claifornia was on sound financial footing. then with the passage of Proposition 13 and other similarly inspired right-wing ideas, we come to the lamentable state of things where the academic standing of the University of California has been diluted while students are required to pay tuition in excess of $6,000 per year. It is a shameful history of antieducation policy based on selfishness. The richest state in the union must be judged by where it chooses to spend its wealth. Now Hastings is another black eye to the state. Congratulations, Governor.
