Michigan Lawyers Found New Firm

Michigan attorneys Joseph Ahern and Jeffrey Fleury have formed a new law firm, Ahern Fleury, which will specialize in helping companies survive the economic downturn by maintaining credit and banking relationships.

From Ahern:

Most operators of medium and small sized Michigan-based companies haven’t previously encountered the types of challenges that all businesses are facing in 2009. The entire Detroit community is adjusting to a new business reality. Our firm was established to provide the necessary legal and business expertise to help clients adjust and become better positioned for long-term viability by concentrating primarily on maintaining credit and banking relationships and restructuring operations where necessary.

Birmingham, Michigan’s Ahern Fleury works with companies in the $2 million to $100 million range. The firm has hired a number of support staffers.
