Profile

NURX is looking for a proactive and organized critical thinker, with excellent attention to detail and great communication skills, to play an important role in supporting Nurx’s legal and operational functions. The qualified candidate will report into Nurx Legal, with a “dotted line” to Nurx Operations. This is a wonderful opportunity to help drive legal, regulatory and policy compliance as part of a growing and dynamic team that touches many aspects of healthcare.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and organize all aspects of contract execution and fulfillment.
  • Assist with and maintain corporate filings and corporate governance documents.
  • Assist with and maintain licensure, registrations and filings required by applicable state and federal agencies and boards.
  • Assist with and maintain health provider accreditation/credentials and provide managed care contract management.
  • Manage administrative items such as maintaining and organizing legal, operational and compliance databases, files and documents.

A bit about you:

  • Bachelor degree preferred; if none, paralegal certificate required at minimum.
  • Advanced paralegal certification in Contracts Administration/Contracts Management is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably supporting (a) contract generation, maintenance and document databases and (b) regulatory compliance.
  • Start up and healthcare regulatory experience is a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and research acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels of management.
  • Creative, self-motivated and results-focused.
  • Self-directed with a strong ability to prioritize workload and adjust to changing demands.
  • Impeccable judgment and ability to handle confidential information.
