The firm handles a wide area of practice including property, tort, contract, family law and probate. The candidate should possess or be willing to learn the following skills for this position: 1) 1-3 years of experience; 2) Excellent communication skills; 3) Ability to meet with clients and prospective clients; 4) Ability to Draft needed pleadings and motion practice for lead attorney review; 5) Ability to perform legal research; 6) Handling of civil discovery, including propounded discovery and deposition practice; 7) Handling hearings before Court and assist in trials as needed; 8) Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; and, 9) Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and see tasks to completion. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
