Top-notch legal research, analytical, writing, oral advocacy and interpersonal skills required. Must be proficient in drafting pleadings, propounding and responding to discovery, and taking and defending depositions. Ideal candidate rapidly understands facts of case and application of relevant law, and consistently generates top-quality filing ready work product for review by senior attorneys. Need to work well independently and in a team, and be a champion of the firm’s mission, ethics and values. Qualifications and Experience Candidate must have J.D. with strong academic credentials and be an active member of California State Bar in good standing. At least 2-5 years of litigation experience required. Trial experience preferred, including appearances in court, arbitration and mediation. Demonstrated record of evaluating and devising strategies for complex disputes and managing them to successful resolution is desired. Broad base of substantive law a plus (e.g., personal injury, employment/labor, business disputes, HOA matters, real estate, insurance, probate, etc.).
