Join the team that helped make possible this, this and this. ABOUT THE ROLE A dynamic, new voting rights initiative is seeking 3 legislative counsels for a 6 month (or longer) engagement. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct in-depth legal and policy research on voting rights and election administration legislation Monitor and manage online tracking service, designing and conducting digital searches to capture legislative activity Analyze policy trends and landscape * Hours per week: 40 hrs QUALIFICATIONS Applicant must hold Juris Doctor (JD) or significant policy expertise in voting rights/election administration space Strong legal research, analytical and writing skills Meticulous attention to detail Strong project and time management skills Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to inspire collaboration Preferred Experience Expert in voting rights and election administration law Legislative drafting and analysis If these are the things that get you up in the morning, we want to hear from you!
