Multi-billion and growing Midtown-based Real Estate Private Equity firm sponsoring a multi-family NYSE REIT, closed-end ’40 Act interval funds and owning captive broker-dealer, seeks experienced Transactional Attorney with business acumen and strong work ethic with 3-5 years’ experience, for In-House position focused on real estate transactions for acquiring multifamily apartment properties principally in the Sunbelt states. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, all serious candidates must be NY-based and have direct experience capable of second-chair-leading all aspects of aggressive asset acquisition practice, including but not limited to average $40-100 million acquisition single asset transactions, and larger portfolio transactions, including PSA drafting and negotiation, Title/Survey examination and all ancillary matters, leading through Closing. Strongly desired: experience closing Agency 1st Mortgage Loans (with negotiated DocMods experience); drafting and negotiating complex multi-tiered joint venture agreements; Development deals.
