Work independently with other staff and volunteer leaders of the organization to develop programs and policies that will advance the organization’s interests. Skills Required Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Responsive, proactive, ability to balance competing priorities with attention to staff and member services. Strong attention to detail while maintaining broad vision of the organization’s mission and values. Ability to negotiate and to work with teams; take initiative in problem-solving. Required Education and Licenses Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Missouri. 3+ years legal practice or equivalent legislative/regulatory experience. Desired Qualifications Association or non-profit experience; legal or non-legal experience in legislative or regulatory offices (either federal or state). Litigation experience. Experience in healthcare and/or election law.
