We are a corporate investigative firm that services investment banks, private equity firms, and similar clients with business intelligence, corporate due diligence, and background investigative reporting. We are looking for someone who is a thinker, service-oriented, and not afraid of challenges – and willing to put in extra time and effort when deadlines or client demands require it. Core Job functions include: Research using electronic databases, online public record sites, internet and social media searches, tasking third party resources, as well as analysis, report writing, proofing and editing. To be successful in this position, you need the following skills and competencies: Attention to details Analytical abilities along with an instinct for investigation Solid research skills and the ability to use online databases effectively (experience using LexisNexis, Westlaw, Clear, Pacer, or others desired but not required) Strong writing Time management and ability to meet deadlines Goal-oriented and diligent work habits Familiarity with social media platforms and internet search techniques Teamwork Good interpersonal skills and collaboration Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Some prior work experience or internship(s) preferred, 1-4 years. College degree or higher in Law, Paralegal Studies, Library Science, Journalism, English, History, Political Science and Anthropology are preferred, but we are open to other related fields of study or related work experience.
