We are looking for a motivated attorney with the ability to think creatively about real estate and construction issues and with meticulous attention to detail. We are a small law firm in downtown Seattle, where we have been since forming the firm in 2004. We are looking for a part-time contract attorney on an initial basis (20+ hours/week expected), with the option of transitioning to full-time associate or “of counsel status” if things go well. There is a possibility of transitioning the practice to a younger attorney in the longer term. We require at least three years’ practice, with a strong preference for experience with construction and real estate contracts and litigation. A writing sample and three references are required but Washington Bar admission is not. Our practice focuses on real estate, construction and land use, and our representation focuses on individuals and small businesses in development and construction. Compensation depends on experience, and we believe in fairly compensating the people who work with us.
