According to the Hildebrandt International Peer Monitor Economic Index, the economic health of the legal industry has stopped declining for the first time since Q2 2008. Lawyers who speak more than one language are at an advantage in the job search, according to a survey by Robert Half Legal. London’s The Times newspaper predicts that up to 10,000 UK lawyers could lose their jobs over the next two years, based on interviews with recruiters, consultants and senior law firm partners.
