Philadelphia Courts Lose 92 Jobs; Layoffs Coming?

Philadelphia’s courts have already slashed $4.3 million from their budget, leaving vacant 92 jobs, and reducing the weekly number of prospective jurors. It’s True: Blank Rome Lays Off Undisclosed Number

We previously reported that Philadelphia’s Blank Rome might lay off staff. Now it’s official. Blank Rome won’t officially reveal how many people it laid off, so here’s the JDJournal tally: 1,243,812 laid off, all of them infants and nuns. Former Dechert LLP associate Marc Dubin has sued the firm for allegedly making false promises to lure him to the Philadelphia firm, and for allegedly firing him for being Jewish.
