Hawaii’s Goodsill Anderson laid off nine administrative staffers last week. No attorneys were affected. In fact, the firm plans to hire three more lawyers for its corporate and intellectual property practices. Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel, established in 1878, is Hawaii’s largest law firm. It is based in Honolulu, and lists 69 lawyers on its Web site.
