At 7:45 PM EDT Justice Ginsburg was taken to Washington Hospital Center. According to a statement from the Court, the hospitalization was only a precaution taken after Ginsburg became ill from a treatment for iron deficiency. Justice Ginsburg is 79 years old and underwent surgery for pancreatic cancer in February of this year.
